The Purpose of This Blog

This blog exists as a record of my thoughts and interests. I’ve always loved building websites, but when it comes to writing about the process… honestly, I find that kind of boring. I’d much rather use this space to talk about the things I’m actually passionate about.

For years now, that’s mostly meant My Little Pony fanfiction. I haven’t written reviews in quite a while, but I fully intend to bring that back, especially now that I’m reading again. My tastes haven’t really changed. Human in Equestria stories are still my favorite genre, and I almost always find something interesting in them, no matter the setup or execution (with a few exceptions of course).

That said, most of what I’m reading at the moment are ongoing stories. Until one of them concludes, or until I stumble on a complete story that pulls me in, I probably won’t be posting reviews just yet. When I do, It will likely be Holding Onto The Crutch We Call Life by Soaring.

In addition to fanfiction, I also want to get into the official comics. Once I’ve cleared a few more stories from my shelf, I plan to dive into those and start reviewing them here too. It should give this blog a bit more variety while still keeping it focused on what I love most.

And then there’s YouTube. I’ve set up a channel where I plan to do reactions to episodes of the show. I haven’t started uploading yet, but once I do, I’ll add a link here for anyone who wants to follow along. I’m looking forward to exploring the series in a new format and sharing that experience with others.

So that’s the plan: more fanfiction reviews when the timing’s right, eventually some comic coverage, and YouTube reactions on the horizon. It’s a mix of old habits and new projects, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
